Relationship anxiety is the term used to describe the feelings of fear, worry, nervousness and discomfort related to a relationship or about what could possibly happen in a relationship. These feelings usually stem from past situations and relationships where you have experienced a loss of trust, control, love or had an inner attachment conflict. We can help you manage these anxious feelings.
Insecurity in relationships comes from fears of being abandoned, self-confidence issues and concerns about being adequate enough to meet the other person’s needs. Being abandoned in past relationships or feeling like someone abandoned you because of something you did or didn’t do can greatly contribute to feeling insecure in your current relationships. We can help you leave these feelings in the past and to not translate them into your current reality.
Relational stress relates to being under emotional strain to perform or to keep up success. This stress can come from a lack of confidence to do things right. Confidence in a relationship is normally build with a track record of success, trust and time. While it is not always possible to maintain one-hundred percent confidence or success, a lack of confidence (or perceived lack) can negatively impact your relationships.
